During his Punjab tour, the Chief Minister of the state Naib Singh Saini has surrounded the Punjab government on the issue of farmers. Naib Saini said that the BJP government of Haryana is buying all the crops of the state at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). There is no such system in Punjab.
He said that if the Punjab government loves farmers and claims to be a well-wisher of farmers, then it should decide to buy all the crops in its state at MSP. Naib Saini claimed that if the BJP government is formed in Punjab, all the crops of the farmers will be bought at MSP.
Haryana government is a true well-wisher of farmers – CM Saini
Chief Minister Naib Saini participated in the Saini Maha Sammelan organized in Ropar, Punjab. Chief Minister Naib Saini attended the program on the invitation of National Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura and Ropar BJP District President Ajayveer Singh Lalpura.
He said that the BJP government of the Center and Haryana is a true well-wisher of the farmers. Evidence of this is that Haryana has purchased 100% of the crops of farmers at MSP and has deposited Rs 1.25 lakh crore in the accounts of 12 lakh farmers. Rs 78 crore has been given to the farmers as interest for delayed payment after crop purchase.
Targeted the AAP government of Punjab
The Chief Minister alleged that earlier the Congress government in Punjab and now the current Aam Aadmi Party government is not taking care of the farmers. The crops of the farmers are not being purchased at MSP. Due to which the farmers are agitating.
The Chief Minister advised the Punjab government to bring a bill in the assembly to buy 100% of the crops of the farmers at MSP. When the BJP government comes to power in Punjab, 100% of the crops of the farmers will be purchased at MSP.
Naib Saini counted the achievements of the government
Naib Singh Saini said that last year the rains were late in the Kharif season in Haryana, due to which the farmers had to make irrigation and other arrangements for sowing the crop. The Haryana government understood the pain of the farmers and deposited Rs 2,000 per acre as bonus in their accounts.
The BJP government has provided free dialysis services to patients suffering from kidney disease in all government hospitals, medical colleges and PGIs of the state.
Prime Minister Modi had announced that elderly people above 70 years of age will get free treatment under the Ayushman Yojana. The Haryana government gave the benefit of this scheme to the elderly of the state and so far Rs 2500 crore has been spent on this item.
‘BJP will give 33 percent reservation to women’
The Chief Minister reminded that there was a long-standing demand of the backward class in Haryana that their creamy layer income limit should be increased. The Haryana government has increased this income limit from six lakh to eight lakh rupees. The backward class has benefited from this.
CM Saini said that in the next Lok Sabha and state assembly elections, BJP will give 33 percent reservation to women, which is a big example of women empowerment.
He described Bibi Sharandeep Kaur as a true soldier of Dasam Patshah Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Bibi Sharandeep had attained martyrdom while fighting against the Mughal invaders in the religious war waged by Guru Ji. Mata Savitribai Phule is the pride of the society. She was not only the first female teacher of India, but also a great social worker and a pioneer of women’s rights.
