Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has given his reaction regarding the Union Budget 2025. He said that this budget is a big step towards improving the living standards of farmers and strengthening the agriculture sector. Apart from this, the loan guarantee cover for the MSME sector has been increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore, which will provide more assistance to small industries.
For the next 6 years, the focus will be on increasing the production of pulses like lentils and pigeon peas. The Chief Minister said that making income up to Rs 12 lakh tax free will directly benefit crores of people of the country. Budget 2025 has a 5-year mission to increase the production of cotton, which will strengthen the textile industry of the country.
Similarly, Makhana Board will be formed in Bihar, which will benefit small farmers and traders. Special credit cards will be issued for small industries, out of which 10 lakh cards will be issued in the first year. A special scheme will also be launched for the toy industry under ‘Make in India’.
Women of Haryana will get this benefit
Chief Minister Saini said that the Finance Minister announced a new scheme for 5 lakh women of SC-ST category in Budget 2025, in which they will get a term loan of Rs 2 crore. Also, to promote startups, the loan limit has been increased from Rs 10 crore to Rs 20 crore. This step is a great initiative to make women self-reliant and strengthen new startups.
Seats of medical education will increase
Big announcements have also been made in the education and health sectors in the budget. 75,000 new seats will be added in medical education in the next 5 years. Along with this, IIT Patna will be expanded keeping in mind the convenience of 1.35 lakh students in 23 IITs. A special provision of Rs 500 crore has been made for Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Chief Minister said, “This budget will usher in a new era in the field of health and education, which will provide better opportunities to the youth. The Haryana government will ensure effective implementation of the schemes announced in this budget so that the state can get maximum benefit and every citizen of the state gets direct benefit from it.”
