Former Punjab Deputy CM and MP Sukhjinder Randhawa has taken a dig at the Punjab government for postponing the cabinet meeting scheduled for today (February 10) and calling it on February 13. He posted on his social media account ‘Hum toh doobhe hain, tumko bhi le doobenge sanam’.
Kejriwal is not sending MLAs to Punjab
Randhawa wrote at the beginning of his post – Hum toh doobhe hain, tumko bhi le doobenge sanam. This saying fits perfectly on Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann today. There has been no cabinet meeting in Punjab for four months and even after the defeat in the recently held elections, Kejriwal is not sending Bhagwant Mann and Punjab MLAs back to the state.
As a result, the governance of Punjab is being affected. Cabinet meetings are being canceled repeatedly. If this continues, Kejriwal will be directly responsible for the failure of the Bhagwant Mann government.
That’s why cabinet meeting is important
Cabinet meeting is important in itself. This meeting is necessary for the smooth functioning and efficient administration of the government. It decides how policies should be made and how they should be implemented.
Mainly policy decisions, approval of legislative processes, decisions on plans, economic and budgetary decisions, decisions on emergency situations, political and constitutional issues are discussed during this period.
However, it is in the hands of the government to decide when to call the meeting. But, if there is no election or any other situation, then the government calls regular meetings every month.
