After the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly elections, there was a discussion that the CM of Punjab is being changed. Statements are coming from the big leaders of the opposition party regarding this. When the media asked the same question to CM Bhagwant Mann, he said that there is a discussion that Arvind Kejriwal will become the CM of Punjab in the coming time. In response to this, the CM said that can this happen. He says whatever comes to his mouth.
CM Mann said that he used to say this earlier also. Kejriwal is the convener of our party. He is the leader of our national party. He has to run the party all over the country. His program is sometimes in Gujarat and sometimes in Chhattisgarh. Such rumors are spread.
The CM said that today I got a call from three-four people that today is your birthday. I asked them whether they found out from the internet. There is one birthday in a year, not three or four. Here they keep spreading rumors.
The plane carrying deported people will not land in Punjab
When the media asked the CM that the planes carrying people being deported from America are being landed in Punjab. What do you understand from this? To this, he said that I have protested against this thing by going to Amritsar. The media has raised this issue at the national level.
At the same time, the effect of that protest will be that now if the next plane comes, it will at least not come to Punjab. At the same time, the youth who are being deported. The Punjab government will help them.
This is how this controversy started
Actually, after the results of the Delhi elections came out, Punjab Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa had claimed that 30 MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were in touch with him. After this, party supremo Arvind Kejriwal had called a meeting of AAP leaders engaged in the Delhi election campaign.
After this, the matter became more heated. However, the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party had called it a rumour from the very beginning. They said that Bajwa does not have his own MLAs in contact. Elections were held for all 117 assembly seats in Punjab in 2022, in which AAP won 92, Congress 18, BJP 2, Shiromani Akali Dal 3 and BSP 1 seat. The majority figure in Punjab is 59. In such a situation, even if 30 MLAs leave the party, AAP will still have 62 MLAs and there will be no threat to the government.
