The Speaker of the Assembly constituted eight committees, MLA Pramod Kumar Vij was given the command of the Estimates Committee

MLA Pramod Vij has been made the chairman of the Estimates Committee and MLAs Savitri Jindal, Akram Khan, Tejpal Tanwar, Chandra Prakash, Jagmohan Anand, Dr. Krishna Kumar, Nikhil Madan and Rajbir Singh Fartia have been made members.

Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan has constituted eight committees under the rules of procedure and functioning of the Assembly. The Assembly Secretariat issued a notification in this regard on Monday. MLA Aftab Ahmed will be the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the Assembly. MLAs Om Prakash Yadav, Vinod Bhyana, Yogendra Singh Rana, Kanwar Singh, Manmohan Bhadana, Pooja, Arjun Chautala and Aditya Surjewala have been included as members.

MLA Pramod Vij has been made the chairman of the Estimates Committee and MLAs Savitri Jindal, Akram Khan, Tejpal Tanwar, Chandra Prakash, Jagmohan Anand, Dr. Krishna Kumar, Nikhil Madan and Rajbir Singh Fartia have been made members. MLA Ram Kumar Gautam has been given the responsibility of chairman in the committee on public undertakings.

MLA Nirmal Singh, Geeta Bhukkal, Moolchand Sharma, Balwan Singh Daulatpuria, Shaktirani Sharma, Anil Yadav, Sunil Satpal Sangwan and Devendra Singh Kadyan have been made members of the committee. MLA Bhagwan Das has been made the chairman of the committee related to welfare of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes. Sardar Jarnail Singh, Bimla Chaudhary, Ram Karan, Chandra Prakash, Sheeshpal Singh, Dr. Krishna Kumar, Pawan Kharkhauda and Anil Yadav have been nominated as members of the committee.

BB Batra became the chairman of the committee on government assurances

BB Batra has been made the chairman of the committee on government assurances and MLAs Ashok Kumar Arora, Om Prakash Yadav, Shaili Chaudhary, Jagmohan Anand, Yogendra Singh Rana, Dhanesh Adalkha, Ummed Singh and Manju Chaudhary have been made members. MLA Vinod Bhyana has been made the chairman and MLAs Ghanshyam Sarraf, Moolchand Sharma, Bharat Singh Beniwal, Pramod Kumar Vij, Kuldeep Vats, Chaudhary have been nominated as members of the committee on local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions. Maman Khan, Mukesh Sharma and Gokul Setia have been made members.

Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishna Lal Middha will be the chairman of the Public Health, Irrigation, Electricity and Public Works (Building and Road) Subject Committee, while Mohammad Ilyas, Laxman Singh Yadav, Naresh Selwal, Kapoor Singh, Satish Kumar Phaganna, Satpal Jamba, Mohammad Israel and Rajesh June will be included as members. MLA Ram Kumar Kashyap has been made the chairman of the subject committee constituted on education, technical education, vocational education, medical education and health services. MLA Renu Bala, Induraj Singh Narwal, Randhir Panihar, Devendra Chaturbhuj Atri, Dr. Krishna Kumar, Harinder Singh, Balram Dangi and Devendra Hans have been nominated as members.
