The minister has lodged a police complaint in the case of Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia sharing objectionable pictures of Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh on his ex-account. Hoshiarpur police has also started investigating it. A copy of the complaint has also been given to DGP Gaurav Yadav and the SSP of the area.
On Tuesday, Majithia shared pictures on a social media account named Ashok Kumar Nangalia on his ex-account. After this, Majithia shared some objectionable pictures of the cabinet minister with a woman. After these pictures went viral on social media, the cabinet minister had said on ex that these pictures are with his ex-wife, which have been manipulated and presented in a wrong way using AI tools.
Ravjot said – Dalit ministers are being defamed
The minister said in a conversation with the media on Wednesday that the opposition is targeting him in view of AAP’s victory in the Ludhiana West by-election. His pictures have been edited and presented in a wrong way on social media. He was divorced from his first wife eight years ago. On Wednesday, Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh addressed the media in Jalandhar along with party general secretary Deepak Bali and said that the leaders who have lost their mass base in Punjab are defaming Dalit ministers to gain accolades. This is not just a personal attack, it is a caste and political conspiracy.
