Jalandhar, Punjab – The city of Jalandhar is set to witness a major infrastructure upgrade with the construction of four world-class roads that will include dedicated bicycle tracks. The Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB) has initiated the tender process to hire a consultant agency for planning and execution.
The selected agency will conduct surveys, design the road infrastructure, and ensure the implementation of international standards. The roads will be developed with LED street lighting, green belts, stormwater drains, pedestrian walkways, high-mast lighting, and cycle tracks.

These routes are a part of the city’s urban development vision, and once finalized by the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be submitted for execution.
