Chandigarh, June 2025: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal has announced the party’s new Core Committee and key office-bearers as part of restructuring the organization. In a significant move, senior leader Bikram Singh Majithia, who is currently under arrest in a disproportionate assets case, has also been named a member of the new core group.
This development marks the first phase of reorganization within SAD’s jathebandi (organizational) structure, signaling a fresh strategy ahead of upcoming political challenges.
