A 42-year-old man was found brutally murdered in a field in Julalpur Khurd village, located in Haryana’s Jind district on Saturday morning. The victim’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood, with severe head and facial injuries, reportedly inflicted with bricks.
Police have recovered a blood-stained brick from the spot, believed to be the murder weapon.
👤 Victim Identified as Baljeet alias Badal
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Baljeet a.k.a. Badal, aged 42. He had left his home on Friday evening and failed to return by night. His worried family members began searching for him early the next morning, only to discover his dead body lying in his agricultural field.
🔍 Forensics and Police Investigation
The Sadar police station team, along with forensic experts, reached the site and initiated a detailed investigation. Preliminary findings reveal multiple blunt force injuries on the victim’s head and face.
The bloodied brick recovered from the scene has been sent for forensic examination. Police are treating this as a cold-blooded murder and have begun collecting evidence from every possible angle.

As of now, no motive has been established, and the identity of the assailants remains unknown. Police officials stated that they are investigating the matter from all possible directions—personal enmity, financial dispute, and local rivalry are all under scrutiny.
