Man Brutally Murdered in Jind: Body Found in Field with Head Injuries, Blood-Soaked Brick Recovered

A 42-year-old man was found brutally murdered in a field in Julalpur Khurd village, located in Haryana’s Jind district on Saturday morning. The victim’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood, with severe head and facial injuries, reportedly inflicted with bricks.

Police have recovered a blood-stained brick from the spot, believed to be the murder weapon.


👤 Victim Identified as Baljeet alias Badal

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Baljeet a.k.a. Badal, aged 42. He had left his home on Friday evening and failed to return by night. His worried family members began searching for him early the next morning, only to discover his dead body lying in his agricultural field.


🔍 Forensics and Police Investigation

The Sadar police station team, along with forensic experts, reached the site and initiated a detailed investigation. Preliminary findings reveal multiple blunt force injuries on the victim’s head and face.

The bloodied brick recovered from the scene has been sent for forensic examination. Police are treating this as a cold-blooded murder and have begun collecting evidence from every possible angle.


🕵️‍♂️ No Clue on Motive or Accused Yet

As of now, no motive has been established, and the identity of the assailants remains unknown. Police officials stated that they are investigating the matter from all possible directions—personal enmity, financial dispute, and local rivalry are all under scrutiny.

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to the district hospital, which is expected to provide further clarity on the exact cause and time of death.

A police official from the Sadar station said:

“We are investigating this murder case thoroughly. Forensic samples have been collected. Our team is questioning locals and family members to get leads. We assure that the culprits will be identified and arrested soon.”


⚖️ Legal Action & FIR:

An FIR has been registered under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC, and police have started examining mobile records, CCTV footage (if any nearby), and conducting door-to-door inquiries in the area.
