Chandigarh: After the rain on Wednesday morning, people got relief from the heat throughout the day. From 7:30 am to 9:45 am, there were slow and heavy showers in every part of the city.
The temperature that fell after the rain brought a slight coolness in the weather and the temperature also dropped by 4 degrees compared to the previous day. Along with the drop in temperature, the same strong winds blowing throughout the day provided relief from humidity even after the sun came out. Although the humidity level in the city reached 92 percent after the morning rain, but the strong winds saved people from the humidity.
When the clouds cleared from the sky in the evening, the weather became pleasant. This time, between June 1 and July 16, 367.9 mm of rain has been received in the city, which is 29.9 mm more than normal. There may be some spells of light rain in the city for the next few days, but after July 22, there are chances of good rain in the city.
