Eyes are fixed on the joint decision of Sangh and BJP
Actually if it was a matter of decision of number 1 and number 2 in BJP, then perhaps by now the name of some leader would have been stamped on the post of National President. But when it comes to a joint decision of the RSS and BJP, it seems a little difficult. Actually, a joint decision is to be taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as well as RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale regarding the post of President and this will probably include the consent of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. And perhaps this is the reason why this decision is continuously getting delayed.
BJP and RSS are not able to agree on any one leader
Sources say that there is no consensus on any one name because the face on which the BJP leaders want to put their stamp is not getting support in the RSS and the face that the RSS wants to bring forward is probably not in the good books of number 1 and number 2, due to which there is no consensus. This will be the first time that the story regarding the decision of the name of the National President has been dragged for so long. Otherwise, it was not a big deal for the BJP, which takes big decisions, to choose its own chief. For the last 13 months, only discussions are going on about this matter, while nothing is happening on the ground.
Some women leaders are also in the race
By the way, many kinds of discussions were heard in BJP in these 13 months. Sometimes the name of Bhupendra Yadav came up, sometimes Dharmendra Pradhan and Manohar Lal Khattar were mentioned for the post of president. Now for the last few days, the names of some women leaders are also being considered for this post. For the women vote bank, the names of Vanathi Srinivasan, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and a woman leader named Daggubati are being considered for the post of national president, but nothing is confirmed yet. By the way, after the statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat regarding 75, there is also a discussion that the new president will also be made keeping in mind this age.
