News of an encounter is coming out once again in Punjab. During this, heavy firing took place between CIA Staff Mohali and the accused. An encounter was conducted today by CIA Staff Mohali in connection with the attack on a person’s office for ransom on July 10. CIA Staff arrested a gangster associated with Babbar Khalsa after an encounter near Chappadchidi today. During this encounter, firing took place from both sides amid torrential rain. Accused Gurpreet Gopi first fired at the police.
He was injured in retaliation and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital. In this regard, SPD Saurav Jindal said that the police have already arrested 3 accused in this case, while the search for the fourth accused is on. He said the complainant was first threatened of ransom in the name of Babbar Khalsa and when the ransom amount was not paid, the accused opened fire outside his office.
