Here, the youths who were making reels by riding on a Thar vehicle at night in the market of Phase-3B2, had to pay a heavy price for their hooliganism. The video of the youths sitting on the roof of the vehicle and playing songs at high volume and making noise has gone viral on social media, which has created a ruckus. After this, the police took immediate action and took the vehicle into custody and issued a challan of 35 thousand.
After all this, the youths were shocked. According to Amandeep Singh Kamboj, in-charge of Mataur police station, it was seen in the viral video that some youths were sitting on the vehicle in the market at night and were creating a ruckus with the sound system and were also making comments on the people around. When this video came to the notice of the police, the youths were identified and the driver was called to the police station.
The vehicle was running without documents
The vehicle had Chandigarh number but the driver turned out to be a resident of Kharar area of Mohali. When he reached the police station, he did not have any documents of the vehicle due to which the vehicle was confiscated and legal action was taken and a challan of 35 thousand rupees was issued. According to the police chief, people from far and wide come to the market to roam and shop. The meaning of this action is that the families coming to the market should feel safe and if someone indulges in hooliganism, legal action will be taken against him.
