Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann distributed appointment letters to 942 newly appointed candidates of the Forest Department at Tagore Theater here and congratulated them. Along with this, he also targeted the previous governments. Chief Minister Mann said that the previous governments worked only for their own benefit and did not pay any attention to the public, but he is continuously giving jobs to the youth. Talking about the environment, he said that the environment is changing, trees are decreasing, heat and rain are increasing and nature is being tampered with a lot.
On this occasion, he said that after the earthquake in Russia, today 70 percent of the world is on alert. Tsunami warning has been issued from New Zealand to California and people are leaving their homes and going to higher places. Therefore, it is not right to tamper with nature. He told the newly appointed candidates that you are the protectors of trees and nature. You are the gardeners of Punjab’s environment and he is proud of you.
The Chief Minister said that he hopes that the newly appointed candidates will work even harder. He said that nature has given a lot to Punjab. Punjab has mountains and the most fertile land, forests, Bhakra, the blue water (Bhakra) that Punjab has is not found anywhere else in the world. He told the people that Goa is like a home to them and God has given everything to this land, but one drawback is that we have got the most looting leaders and they have squeezed the blood of the people. After this, he asked the newly appointed candidates to work hard and honestly and also said that the government will stand with these candidates in every happiness and sorrow.
