There is anger among the people after the marriage of a boy and a girl living in opposite houses in village Manakpur Sharif. Therefore, a strict order has been issued by the Panchayat for the said couple. In view of this, on Thursday, the Gram Panchayat passed a resolution against those who marry without the consent of the parents.
Sarpanch Dalbir Singh said that the members decided with the consent of the villagers that if any boy or girl of the village runs away from home and marries without the consent of their parents, then he will not have any right to live even in the nearby village.
They will be deprived of all kinds of facilities. If any family member or villager helps the couple violating the resolution, action will be taken against him. The Gram Sabha appealed to the administration to take action against those who commit such a mistake. According to the Panchayat, the purpose of this resolution is to prevent such incidents in future and maintain communal harmony in the village.
