80-year-old Ram Garib Yadav, who went missing from his daughter’s house in Delhi two months ago, was finally found safe and sound. He was sleeping on the road outside Kali Mata Mandir on Sodhal Road when his son, who was roaming the streets in search of him, spotted him. Ram Garib Yadav was injured on the head and feet and was first treated.
Rajesh Yadav, a resident of Nagaloi area of Delhi, said that in 2 months his father kept roaming helplessly in every corner of the city. He became mentally ill and forgot that he was in Jalandhar and kept asking people for the address of his house in Delhi. People also did not understand him and considered him mad, due to which his father kept wandering from door to door to reach home.
Rajesh said that he too had not lost courage and leaving his work kept searching for his father in Jalandhar. Around 12 o’clock on Wednesday night, he went out to look for his father on the streets and as soon as he reached near Kali Mata Mandir, he went to a person lying helpless on the road and saw that it was his father. Seeing each other, the father and son started crying and then hugged each other. As he was injured, Rajesh first got his father treated and then took him to his sister’s house in Dada Colony. Rajesh said that now he is returning to Delhi with his father.
