Mahesh Makhija, who is trapped in the corruption case along with Raman Arora, has been granted bail by the court, giving him a big relief. There are allegations that Mahesh Makhija is MLA Raman Arora’s confidant in the corruption case. He is also a partner with him in many lands. There were also allegations that Makhija used to organize religious programs in Jalandhar and under the guise of this, fraud of crores of rupees was done. Let us tell you that Jalandhar Central MLA Raman Arora, who was caught in the corruption case, appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Jaswinder Singh last day. This appearance was done through video call. Three more people related to this case, including Municipal Corporation Inspector Harpreet Kaur, ATP Sukhdev Vishisht and Raman Arora’s close aide Mahesh Mukhija, had to appear in the court in person.
The court extended the judicial custody of these four accused till August 20. During the hearing, documents related to the case (copies of challan) were also provided to Inspector Harpreet Kaur. Now the next hearing of this case will be on August 20. Meanwhile, the court has given a big relief to Mahesh Makhija by granting him bail.
