10th pass in Haryana has got a big setback. The government has changed the rules for appointment to Group-C posts. Now 10th pass will not be given jobs in Group-C jobs. For this, the government has issued a letter to all government offices, universities and corporations and ordered that 10th pass should not be given jobs in Group C jobs, because the Haryana government has made 12th pass the minimum qualification for appointment to Group C posts, but in many departments, 10th pass was still being appointed. Which was a violation of the rule amended by the government. The government has given orders to strictly implement this decision.
Orders were issued by the Haryana government on 21 July 2023 that the minimum qualification for the post of Group-C should be 12th pass, although before this 10th pass was also given appointment to posts parallel to Group C i.e. clerk and the rules were amended on the orders of the government. Now the government has ordered to follow this rule strictly.
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi issued a letter saying that the Haryana government had issued orders on 21 April 2023 and 21 July 2023 that the minimum age for Group-C posts has been increased from 10th to 12th, so every department has to follow this rule. Now the Chief Secretary has issued a letter to Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Chief Administrators and Managing Directors of Boards-Corporations, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) and Registrars of Universities to comply with these orders.
