Important information has come to light about the expensive Toll Plaza of Punjab. If you also have to pass through expensive toll plazas during your journey, then there is good news for you. Actually, from Independence Day, 15 August, a big relief is going to come for highway travelers across the country. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the launch of the FASTag Annual Pass scheme, under which passengers will now be able to cross even the most expensive toll plazas for just 15 rupees. For example, the one-way toll for car / jeep / van at Ladowal toll plaza in Punjab is Rs 230 and the toll in 24 hours is Rs 345. Now through this scheme, it can be crossed very cheaply.
What is the new scheme?
It is worth noting that through this new scheme, less money will have to be paid while passing through the toll plaza on the highway throughout the year. Under this, car, jeep and van owners will be able to avail the benefit of 200 toll crossings by paying only Rs 3000 annually. On the other hand, if the limit of 200 toll crossings is already completed, then it will be necessary to recharge this pass again. The most important thing is that this pass will not have to be purchased separately. It will be linked to your existing FASTag. The benefit of the scheme will be available only on national highways and expressways under NHAI and Ministry of Road Transport.
Apply like this:
First of all go to Rajmarg Yatra app or NHAI’s official website.
After this, login with your vehicle number and ID.
Pay 3000 through UPI, debit card, credit card or net banking.
After this, Annual Pass will be linked to your existing FASTag.
You will get an SMS of activation on 15th August.
Its benefits:
With this, you will be able to cross the most expensive toll plaza for just 15 rupees.
There is no need to recharge again and again.
You will not have to stand in long queues on the highway.
You can cross the toll plaza 200 times in a year and then recharge again.
