phonepe’s Indus Appstore and Alcatel’s strategic partnership, know what is its objective

Date:

Indus Appstore, an Indian Android app marketplace, today announced a strategic partnership with French technology company Alcatel. Under this long-term partnership, now all Alcatel smartphones sold in India will have Indus Appstore pre-installed. This will help both the companies to reach millions of users across the country and provide new options with the help of local app marketplace.

PhonePe’s Indus Appstore has a large catalog of verified mobile apps and games in 45 categories. It supports 12 Indian languages, offers voice search in 10 regional languages, and provides a video-based app discovery experience. With its help, users can preview apps before downloading them. Indus Appstore provides an effective and user-centric alternative to the old app distribution model. This will give users a great experience not only in downloading apps but also in discovering apps according to their choice.
Nextcell India has the exclusive rights to operate and represent the “Alcatel” brand on behalf of TCL in India and select international markets. The company is playing a key role in driving this partnership forward. This partnership reflects Nextcell’s philosophy, which is in line with the “Make in India” program of the Government of India. Its aim is to empower Indian users and developers through local technology solutions. The special thing is that Indus Appstore has partnered with Alcatel within a few days of its launch in India. In such a situation, their association will remain from the very beginning of the brand.

Speaking on the partnership, Priya M. Narasimhan, Chief Business Officer, Indus Appstore said, “We are extremely excited to partner with Alcatel at the very beginning of their journey in India. This collaboration will allow Alcatel users to discover and experience apps on a homegrown platform that offers true localization and personalization. This partnership not only expands the reach of Indus Appstore but also provides a great opportunity for developers and marketers to make their apps accessible and connect with more users across the country.”

Speaking on the partnership, Atul Vivek, Chief Business Officer, Nextcell India said, “As we prepare to relaunch Alcatel smartphones in the Indian market, our focus is to create a distinct and genuine identity through localized innovation. Partnering with PhonePe’s Indus Appstore gives us the opportunity to offer users a digital experience that is completely customized to the Indian consumer, the moment they turn on their new phone. They have been an important part of our journey since the beginning and we are excited to take this partnership further. This collaboration further strengthens our commitment to provide innovative and reliable technology to our users.”
