Information has been received about the death of a 23-year-old girl in Ravi Residency Hotel located in the street opposite Nehru Garden School in Jalandhar. The deceased has been identified as Anmol Gill, resident of Amritsar.
According to the hotel staff, this girl had come to rent a room with a boy, whom she was telling as her cousin (uncle’s son). How the girl died has not been confirmed yet.
It is expected from the Jalandhar Police Commissioner that the hotels running in such streets and localities should be checked, and it should also be seen whether the hotel managers take the identity cards of the people who come to take the room properly or not. Police of Police Station No. 4 has reached the spot and started investigation. The police station in-charge said that how the deceased died will be clear only after the post-mortem report comes.
