According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change once again in Punjab. Today, there was heavy rain in Hoshiarpur district in the morning, after which people got a lot of relief from the humid heat. At the same time, light to moderate rains may occur in some districts of Punjab, Mohali, Rupnagar, Pathankot on Tuesday i.e. tomorrow. However, the weather will remain dry in other districts of the state.
With this, if we talk about the past day, then Bathinda district of Punjab was the hottest, whose temperature was 36.6 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana’s minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, a big change can be seen in the weather of Punjab on 16, 17 and 18 September.
Improvement in flood situation
On the other hand, if we talk about the flood situation in Punjab, then the flood crisis in Punjab is now gradually decreasing. Due to less rain in the hilly areas, the water level of the rivers is continuously decreasing and the situation is becoming normal. There have been signs of relief in the state for the past one week. The damage assessment is now being done in the areas that were most affected by the floods. Meanwhile, the state government has started cleaning and restoration work at a fast pace in the affected areas. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the cleaning operation is going on at a war footing in various districts of Punjab so that people can get relief as soon as possible and normal life can be restored.
