A bloody clash erupted between two groups of transgenders in Heera Mandi, Firozpur city, over collecting congratulations at a wedding house. Some transgenders from both groups were injured in the fight and are currently receiving treatment. One group of transgenders alleged that a family celebrating a wedding had called them to come and collect congratulations, and when they arrived at the house, another group of transgenders also arrived and attacked them with sticks and other weapons. On the other hand, the other group of transgenders denied all the allegations, stating that this area belongs to Krishna Mahant and they have purchased these areas. They alleged that the other group forcibly goes there to collect congratulations and deliberately causes them harm. Bobby Deva and Krishna Mahant said that they had come to this house to collect congratulations when the other group of transgenders attacked them and also vandalized their car. They stated that one of their members was attacked on the head with an iron rod, and one injured person received 8 stitches. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV cameras. Both groups of transgenders are accusing each other and demanding action against each other. The actual culprit will only be determined after the police investigation. As of the time of writing, the police are taking legal action regarding this incident.
