A Verna car was severely damaged in a collision involving three vehicles at the Shri Bhatta Sahib Chowk on the Rupnagar-Chandigarh National Highway. A newlywed couple was traveling in the Verna car. According to the information received, three vehicles collided, and a car with a Himachal Pradesh license plate, which was heading towards Chandigarh, was badly damaged. The newlywed couple was in this Verna car.
Some people said that the accident was caused by the negligence of the tractor driver. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the accident, and a crowd of people gathered at the scene. Local residents tried to manage the situation and traffic was eventually restored.
