Aam Aadmi Party Central MLA Raman Arora and his family in Jalandhar have received death threats. A ransom of ₹5 crore has been demanded from them in the name of gangsters.
According to reports, the MLA received a threatening call from an overseas number on November 8th. When he ignored the call, he received another call the next day threatening to kill him and his family. Raman Arora has filed a complaint with the Police Commissioner. Police have launched an investigation and are trying to trace the source of the phone calls.
