In a series of train delays, various trains arrived at the City and Cantt stations hours behind schedule, forcing passengers to endure long waits.
In a similar vein, the 15707 Amrapali Express arrived at the City station at 2:30 PM, four hours behind its scheduled departure time of 10:30 AM from Jalandhar. The rescheduled and delayed Amritsar Clone Special 04651 was delayed by nearly 10 hours. Meanwhile, the Vande Bharat Express 26405/26406 from Amritsar to Vaishno Devi Katra was cancelled on Wednesday and will remain cancelled on November 13th. Similarly, the 14504 Vaishno Devi Kalka and 22461 Shri Shakti Superfast were cancelled.
It’s worth noting that the Railways has introduced a new Vande Bharat Express, numbered 26462/26461, between Firozpur Cantt and Delhi Junction. This new service was launched on November 8th from Firozpur Cantt Railway Station.
