A 20-year-old man, fed up with his would-be wife’s infidelity, hanged himself near the Kabir Temple in Bhargava Camp. The young man had recently gotten engaged to the same woman in a hotel, but she blocked him from all social media apps, leading to the suicide.
The deceased man has been identified as Amandeep alias Makhan, a resident of Bhargava Camp. Before committing suicide, Amandeep sent four videos to his friends and close relatives. Aman is also seen smoking a cigarette in the videos. He was his parents’ only son and had two sisters. The young man was in a love relationship with a young woman, and they had even gotten engaged in a hotel. According to the deceased, his fiancée now wanted to marry someone else, which is why the woman blocked him from all accounts. The woman had flatly refused to marry Amandeep. Meanwhile, as soon as the police from Bhargava Camp police station received information about the suicide, they arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, the police took down the body from the noose and placed it in the Civil Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem. ASI Gulzar Singh of Bhargava Camp police station said that late last night, the police were recording statements from the deceased child’s family. They have accused the girl and her family of instigating the suicide. Late that night, the police were preparing to file an FIR.
