Robbers carried out a major crime in a film-like manner in the district. The criminals’ audacity has once again been demonstrated. Late Tuesday evening, two masked robbers stormed the Shimla Garments Factory near Daresi Ground in a film-like manner. They stormed into the office of textile businessman Harpreet Singh, first threatening the gatekeeper with a pistol and then proceeded straight into the office.
The robbers entered the factory and attempted to intimidate the businessman, but when Harpreet Singh resisted, a fierce scuffle ensued. The businessman sustained minor injuries during the struggle. As factory workers rushed to Harpreet Singh’s rescue, the robbers fled the scene on a motorcycle, brandishing pistols, without completing the robbery. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene, recorded the businessman’s statement, and launched an investigation. Police are examining nearby CCTV footage to identify the masked attackers.
