District Program Officer Ratinder Pal Kaur Dhariwal stated that the Department of Social Security and Women and Child Development, Punjab, is recruiting Anganwadi Workers/Helpers. Under this initiative, 11 Anganwadi Workers and 69 Helpers will be recruited in various villages of Malerkotla district.
She stated that candidates with a graduate degree or equivalent qualification can apply for Anganwadi Workers, and that a pass in Punjabi in the 10th grade is mandatory. She further stated that candidates with a 10+2 or equivalent qualification and a pass in Punjabi in the 10th grade can apply for Helpers.
She stated that the educational qualification certificate must have been issued or the result of the educational qualification must have been declared before the application deadline. He further stated that the minimum age for recruitment as an Anganwadi worker is 21 years and the maximum age is 37 years, while the minimum age for recruitment as an Anganwadi helper is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years. The age limit for Scheduled Caste/OBC candidates is 42 years.
The age limit for persons with disabilities will be 47 years. The maximum age limit for widows and divorced women will be 47 years. He stated that the application deadline is from November 19th to December 10th, and candidates can apply online only.
