Police have arrested three young men who recently gang-raped a migrant mother and her daughter in the Lohian area. A fourth man named in the case is reportedly absconding, but special police teams are conducting raids to apprehend him.
Disclosing this information, Senior Police Captain Harvinder Singh Virk stated that on the night of November 23/24, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a migrant mother and daughter, along with their son-in-law and three young children, were held hostage and gang-raped at gunpoint while working in the fields on a motorbike in village Kang Kalan. The mother and daughter reported that four unidentified men forcibly entered the room on the motorbike and severely beat them. The son-in-law and children were locked in another room. The mother was taken into a room by three men, and the daughter by one man. They were taken into a room where they were threatened and gang-raped, one by one, and threatened with death. In this regard, Female Inspector Seema, Lohian Police Station, registered case number 176 at Lohian Police Station on November 24th, informed senior officers for further action, and immediately began a search for the accused. Three accused have been arrested in this case, while one is absconding, who will also be arrested and sent behind bars very soon.
