A horrific incident that occurred this afternoon in Chandigarh, known for its tranquil surroundings, has sent shockwaves throughout the area. A woman was found murdered by slitting her throat in the ladies’ bathroom of the Rose Garden in Sector 16. The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, has terrified residents nearby.
According to sources, when some women entered the bathroom, they found a woman’s blood-soaked body inside. A bloody knife was also found near the body. Deep injuries were visible on the victim’s neck, indicating that the murder was committed by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.
The incident was immediately reported to the park’s security personnel and the police, following which several Chandigarh police teams arrived at the scene. Police are examining footage from nearby CCTV cameras to uncover any clues about the killers.
