On Kakka Road in the Meharban locality, two unidentified miscreants riding a motorcycle targeted and robbed a dairy owner. At the point of a sharp-edged weapon, the robbers snatched the victim’s mobile phone, wallet, and approximately ₹7,000 in cash before fleeing the scene. In connection with this incident, the Meharban Police Station has registered a case against unidentified individuals based on a complaint filed by Arshdeep Singh.
In his complaint, Arshdeep Singh stated that on March 28, he was traveling from his home to his dairy in Kakka village on his motorcycle. When he reached a point just past Bhoda Colony on Kakka Road, two unidentified youths approaching from behind on a motorcycle intercepted him. According to the victim, the miscreants forcibly stopped him and intimidated him at knifepoint. When he attempted to resist, the robbers physically assaulted him. The miscreants forcibly snatched the victim’s Infinix mobile phone and his wallet—which contained essential documents along with ₹7,000 in cash—and made a hasty escape. The police are currently scrutinizing footage from CCTV cameras installed in the area in an effort to identify the accused.
