A woman lost her life in a tragic road accident in the Dinanagar region of Punjab. According to reports, a speeding Bolero SUV collided with a couple riding a motorcycle near the village of Niwan Dhakala.
Bolero Driver Negligently Crashes into Motorcycle
It is reported that Jagtar Singh was traveling with his wife, Kulwinder Kaur, on a Discover motorcycle, heading from their village, Baupur Jatta, toward the town of Bahrampur. As they approached the vicinity of Niwan Dhakala village, a speeding Bolero approaching from behind negligently crashed into their bike without sounding its horn.
Case Registered Against Bolero Driver Under Various Sections
The impact of the collision was so severe that both individuals were thrown onto the road, resulting in critical injuries to the woman. She was immediately rushed in an injured state to a private hospital in Gurdaspur, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment. In connection with this incident, the SHO (Station House Officer) of the Bahrampur Police Station stated that, based on the victim’s statements, a case has been registered against the unidentified Bolero driver under various sections of the law, and further investigations are underway.
