A fire, started among tree branches lying along the roadside in Jalandhar’s Model Town, quickly escalated into a fierce blaze. According to reports, tree branches and other debris were lying on the roadside outside a mall near Model Town’s Gol Market. The fire intensified rapidly and spread to the outdoor units of the air conditioners mounted on the mall’s wall. As a result of the fire, approximately six outdoor AC units installed on the wall were destroyed.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear at this time whether the fire was deliberately set or if it was caused by a short circuit. Reports also indicate that a vehicle was parked in close proximity to the scene of the incident. Upon receiving information about the fire, the vehicle’s owner rushed to the spot and moved the car to safety, thereby saving it from the flames. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident.
