Renowned Punjabi singer Master Saleem has expressed concern regarding the deteriorating health of the celebrated musician and *Ustad* (Maestro) Gulshan Meer, appealing to the artist community for assistance. Master Saleem stated that Gulshan Meer Sahib is a globally recognized figure and a truly great *Ustad*. Sharing a video on social media, Saleem remarked, “Gulshan Meer is a personality who has mentored numerous major artists, including names such as Jyoti Nooran, Sultana Nooran, Reetu, and Sahil.” Saleem also shared that he himself has learned a great deal from Gulshan Meer and can never fully repay the debt of gratitude he owes him.
Saleem informed the public that he has extended whatever assistance he could from his end; however, he has appealed to all artists associated with the Punjabi music industry to also step forward during this difficult time. He noted, “An ocean is filled drop by drop,” implying that if every artist contributes even a small amount, it will collectively prove to be a significant source of aid. According to Master Saleem, Gulshan Meer has contributed immensely to the world of music through his songs and Sufi *Kalam* (poetry/compositions)—a contribution for which the debt can never be fully repaid. He further appealed to all fans and fellow artists to pray for his speedy recovery.
