Gold and silver prices continue to witness constant fluctuations. According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, on Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold reached ₹151,600, while 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹140,990 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the market price for silver was recorded at ₹247,400 per kilogram. Experts attribute these ongoing price fluctuations to the influence of the international market and shifts in demand.
**Gold and Silver Rates on COMEX**
On COMEX, gold opened on a strong note and maintained its upward momentum. Gold opened at $4,534 per ounce—slightly higher than its previous closing price of $4,533.30. During trading, it registered a gain of approximately $17.40, reaching $4,550.70 per ounce. Conversely, silver futures witnessed a softening trend. Silver opened at $73.17 per ounce—lower than its previous closing price of $73.52. During trading, it declined by $0.31 and was seen trading at $73.21 per ounce.
