A sensational and shocking incident has come to light in the Bihari Chowk area of the metropolis. Here, a group of miscreants—acting with utter disregard for the law—set a plastic factory on fire in a fit of rage after a police complaint regarding a theft was filed against them. Due to the presence of plastic goods, the fire was so ferocious that, within moments, the entire factory was completely reduced to ashes. This incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the locality.
**Victim Abhishek Garg Informs the Police**
Acting on the complaint filed by the victimized factory owner, the police have registered a fresh case under serious penal sections against the named accused and have launched an intensive manhunt to apprehend them. The victim, Abhishek Garg—a resident of Azad Nagar in Millerganj—stated in his complaint to the police that he owns an industrial unit named ‘Agarwal Plastic Factory’ located in Bihari Chowk. According to Abhishek, a major theft incident occurred at his factory on May 18. Showing courage, he filed a complaint with the police regarding this matter, specifically naming two cunning individuals—Jagga and Rang Bahadur—and registering an FIR against them. The complainant alleges that ever since the police registered the theft case against these two, the accused had been agitated and were constantly threatening him to withdraw the case, warning him of dire consequences if he failed to do so. The victim further revealed that amidst these threats, a massive fire suddenly erupted at his factory on May 22, sometime between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Due to the presence of a large quantity of plastic goods and raw materials inside the factory, the fire immediately escalated into a raging inferno. By the time the fire could be brought under control, the entire factory had been reduced to a heap of ashes.
**Police Teams Conducting Raids to Apprehend the Accused**
As a result of this conspiracy, the victim has suffered heavy financial losses. In his statements to the police, Abhishek Garg has clearly expressed his suspicion that the fire at his factory was not caused by any technical glitch or accident; rather, it was deliberately set ablaze by the very same individuals accused of theft—Jagga and Rang Bahadur—out of vendetta, in order to exact revenge and exert pressure upon him. Acting on the basis of the factory owner’s statements and well-founded suspicions, and taking into account the gravity of the matter, the police at Sahnewal Police Station have taken immediate and decisive action. The police have registered a fresh FIR against the named accused, Jagga and Rang Bahadur. Police officials have stated that while the accused may be emboldened, the long arm of the law will eventually catch up with them. Police teams are currently conducting raids to apprehend the two absconding accused, and they are expected to be nabbed very soon.
