The latest rates for gold and silver have been released. According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, the price of 24-carat gold reached ₹1,54,700 on Thursday, while 22-carat gold touched ₹1,43,870. As for silver, the price has reached ₹2,52,900 today.
Meanwhile, on the MCX, gold futures fell by 0.40% to ₹1,52,480, while silver prices dropped by 0.6%, with one kilogram of silver trading near ₹2,49,210.
Gold softens while silver rises in the international market
In the international market, gold futures are showing a sluggish trend, whereas silver is witnessing a rise. Gold opened at $4,352.60 per ounce on Comex today. At the time of writing, it was trading at $4,345.60 per ounce, down by $3.20.
