Ravinder Singh Khera, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in-charge for the Kharar Assembly constituency, held a party meeting in Kharar town. Discussions during the meeting focused on preparations for the ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’ (Save Punjab Rally) scheduled for September 10 at Palheri village. Emphasis was placed on ensuring maximum participation from the people of the Kharar constituency in the rally. Khera stated that SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal would address the rally on September 10.
Khera remarked that the ‘Punjab Bachao Rally’ is crucial given the current law and order situation, unemployment, and the drug problem in the state. He asserted that only a Shiromani Akali Dal government could ensure all-round development for Punjab once again. Those present on the occasion included Patwari Balvinder Singh (Kharar President), Harsimran Singh Binny, Himmat Singh Desumajra, Balkar Singh Babbu, Malkit Singh Mall, Shamsher Singh Badali, Master Jasmer Singh, and Rajbir Singh Raji.
