Due to a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, heavy rainfall is expected in parts of East and Central India, even as the monsoon begins its withdrawal from North India.
**No rain expected in Delhi-NCR**
The sky will remain clear in Delhi-NCR today, with no chance of rain. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 34°C and 36°C, and minimum temperatures between 23°C and 25°C. Warm conditions will persist. **Uttar Pradesh**
The weather is likely to remain dry in both Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh today; however, rain accompanied by thunderstorms is possible between September 25 and 27.
**Bihar**
Heavy rain is expected in some areas today. Alerts for very heavy rainfall in isolated places have been issued for September 24 and 25. Residents are advised to remain alert.
**Red Alert in Odisha**
A ‘Red Alert’ for heavy to very heavy rainfall is in effect for several districts in Odisha. Extremely heavy rainfall is likely in Koraput, Gajapati, and Ganjam on September 23 and 24. A Red Alert is also in force for Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, and Malkangiri districts until September 25. Advisories to close schools have been issued for several districts in the state. **Chhattisgarh**
Widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected across the state. Warnings for very heavy rainfall have been issued for September 23 and 24.

**Rajasthan**
The monsoon has begun to withdraw from the state. The weather will remain dry in most areas. Light rain may occur at isolated places in the Kota and Udaipur divisions.
