An atmosphere of panic prevails in the Kalyan Nagar area of Guva due to an aggressive stray dog. This black dog has bitten and injured five people recently. All the victims have been admitted to the Guva SAIL Hospital for treatment; they include Dhanurjay Das, Bholu, Pawan, Kartik Das, and Nikhil.
According to locals, the dog attacks people suddenly, making residents—especially children—afraid to step out of their homes during the morning and evening hours. Fear has gripped the community due to these repeated attacks. Residents worry that if the dog is not captured in time, it could target others, particularly children or the elderly. Following these incidents, locals have demanded immediate action from the administration to capture the aggressive animal. They argue that catching just this one dog is insufficient; a broader campaign should be launched to identify and control other stray and aggressive dogs roaming the area.
