The STF of Punjab Police today arrested BJP leader and former Congress MLS Satkar Kaur Gehri in a drug case as she was caught red handed with 100 gram heroin.
Gehri was Congress MLA from Ferozepur rural during Capt Amarinder Singh government. She later joined BJP alongwith Capt Amarinder Singh.
IG headquarter Sukhchain Singh Gill while giving information that a source had informed police about Satkaur Kaur but at the time of information police was not aware of identity of the accused woman. She had came personally to sell the drugs when she was caught red handed by STF team. She tried to escape from the spot but caught by police.
