Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Tuesday evening addressed a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Rekha Gupta from Shalimar Bagh seat in the Delhi Assembly elections. In this, he targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Saini said that during the Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal had claimed victory on all seven seats in Delhi, but the public gave him zero. Now in the assembly elections too, the public will reject him. When the results of the Delhi Assembly elections will come on February 8, Kejriwal’s hands will be empty again.
Party MP from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat Parveen Khandelwal was also present with Saini in this meeting held in Shalimar Bagh.
Kejriwal wants Tihar Award
Taking a dig at Kejriwal, he said that he is the first Chief Minister who reached Tihar Jail with his entire cabinet. He should get an award for this ‘feat’. Taking a dig at AAP’s election symbol broom, Saini said that everything is cleaned with a broom, but what happens when it is lifted up? Praising PM Narendra Modi, Saini said that today Narendra Modi has a status all over the world. The President of the world’s most powerful country also receives him at the airport with his wife.
Kejriwal showed rosy picture to the public
Saini alleged that Kejriwal showed only big dreams to the people of Delhi. He made promises like cleaning of Yamuna, improvement of drains, and removal of wires hanging on poles, but did not fulfill even one. 10 years ago, he had sworn on his children that he would not form an alliance with Congress, but today he himself is standing against his promises.
Trapped by talking about making Delhi like Paris
Saini called Kejriwal a ‘sharp liar’ and said that he showed the dream of making Delhi like Paris. He did not provide clean water to the public, but installed STP at his bungalow. This leader lies only to get votes. Now the people of Delhi are waiting for their decision on the voting day on February 5. Chief Minister Saini claims that this time BJP government will be formed in Delhi and AAP will again face a crushing defeat.
