Panchkula Police of Haryana has arrested four accused while solving three different theft cases in a day. This action was taken under the special campaign being run under the direction of Police Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Arya.
Television and gas cylinder stolen from house
In the first case, Sunny Kumar of Faridkot Punjab was arrested for stealing television and gas cylinder from Sector-12. This theft took place from the house of KPS Sandhu in September 2024. The team of Crime Branch Sector-19 caught the accused, who has been sent on two-day police remand by the court.
Apple Watch stolen from the store
In the second case, two accused Sonu Khan and Tarun Saini, who stole Apple Watch from Imagine Apple Store in Sector-11, were arrested. Both these accused, residents of Ramgarh, Panchkula, committed this crime on 21 January 2025. The police have sent both of them to judicial custody.
Battery rickshaw was stolen from Sector 5
In the third case, on January 14, 2025, Puneet Kumar alias Vicky of Baltana, Zirakpur was arrested from Abhaypur village in connection with the battery rickshaw stolen from Sector-5. The court has sent the accused on one-day police remand. Police officials say that such action will continue to strengthen the law and order in the city.
