Big changes are going to happen in Haryana Transport Department. Transport Minister Anil Vij has shared the roadmap for the modernization of the department. Soon an app will be ready on which complete information about the arrival and departure of buses will be available. Apart from this, the supply of food items at the roadways bus stations of the state will be done by the Haryana Tourism Department.
After freeing the Transport Department of Haryana from IPS and HPS officers, Transport Minister Anil Vij has prepared a roadmap to start new facilities in the department.
The Transport Department will soon prepare an app on which complete information about the arrival and departure of buses will be available. A person standing at any bus stop can find out through this app how long the bus is going to reach him.

Apart from this, the supply of food items at the roadways bus stations of the state will be done by the Haryana Tourism Department. As an experiment, this facility will be started at five bus stations initially. If the pilot project is successful, then the Tourism Corporation will supply items at all the bus stations of the state.
This will provide good food to the people and increase the income of the tourism corporation. Haryana’s Transport Minister Anil Vij shared the roadmap for the modernization of the Transport Department in front of the media in his office in Chandigarh on Wednesday.

Flights are going to start from the airports in Hisar and Ambala in Haryana soon. In view of these airports, the Transport Department is serious about bringing all the bus stations of the state into a modern form.
A proposal has been sent to the state government by the Tourism Department of Haryana for a pilot project regarding providing food items at the bus stations.
The tracking app will tell which bus will arrive at what time
According to Anil Vij, a tracking app will soon be made to make the Transport Department in Haryana work in a modern way. All such information about which bus arrives and when it leaves will be available to the passengers in the Transport Department’s app.
This app will also be in the mobile phone of a common man and he will be able to see which Haryana Roadways bus is coming and how long will it take for the bus to reach where a certain person is standing. If people know the exact arrival time of the bus, they will avoid taking the service of alternative transport.
