After the raid by the Election Commission team on Kapurthala House, the official residence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has started to surround the BJP. On one hand, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has raised questions on the BJP, while former CM Arvind Kejriwal is also targeting the BJP. Now CM Bhagwant Mann has also expressed his anger.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann posted on social media X and wrote – Delhi Police raided my Chief Minister’s residence Kapurthala House in Delhi. They searched every inch of the house. They even searched the clothes chest of the women of my family, will they tell me what they found?
BJP people’s houses are just 500 meters away from the Delhi Police office, will they dare to raid their houses? Or is it allowed to do this only with the Aam Aadmi Party and Punjabis. All this is the frustration of BJP’s defeat. Raiding a Chief Minister’s residence like this is very condemnable.
Delhi CM Atishi and Kejriwal also got angry
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also criticized this action and said that BJP leaders are openly distributing money, shoes, sheets, but the police does not pay attention to them, while a raid is being conducted at the residence of an elected Chief Minister. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP people are distributing money, liquor, gold chains, ration, everything and the raid is being conducted at the house of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Delhi Police said, there was no raid
After the incident gained momentum, Delhi Police clarified that they have not conducted any raid. After receiving a complaint of cash distribution on the Cvigil app, the Returning Officer and Flying Squad team had arrived and the police was present there for security.
Money was found in a car with Punjab Government written on it
On Wednesday evening itself, the Election Commission had caught a car with Punjab Government sticker in Delhi. In which there was Aam Aadmi’s campaign material, liquor and Rs 10 lakh cash. However, the Punjab government had clarified that the number plate of the car was changed and this car is not attached to any office.
BJP raised questions on the presence of Punjab leaders in Delhi
Even before the raid, BJP had also raised questions on the presence of Punjab leaders in Delhi. Just yesterday, BJP candidate in Delhi, Parvesh Verma had said that the security of Delhi is in danger. People of Punjab are roaming in Delhi. Vehicles of Punjab are roaming in Delhi. The car caught recently also had a sticker of Punjab government.
