Applications have started for the recruitment process on contract basis in the Advocate General Office of Haryana Government. Applications are being sought for the posts of 100 law officers. It is mandatory for the applicant to be registered as an advocate in any State Bar Council and should have experience of practicing law in any court.
The process of recruitment for the posts of 100 law officers has started in the Advocate General Office of Haryana Government. These appointments will be made purely on contract basis for one year. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official portal of Advocate General, Haryana from 1 February 2025 to 15 February 2025.
Recruitment for these posts
A total of 100 posts will be recruited in the Advocate General Office, which includes the posts of 20 Additional Advocate General, 20 Senior Deputy Advocate General, 30 Deputy Advocate General and 30 Assistant Advocate General. Some essential qualification and experience related conditions have been prescribed for this recruitment.
To apply, the applicant must be a citizen of India and must be registered as an advocate in any State Bar Council. Apart from this, the applicant must have experience of practicing law in any court of India.
Know these important things to apply
The minimum annual professional income of the candidates to apply has also been fixed. The minimum annual income for the post of Additional Advocate General should be Rs 12,00,000, Rs 10,00,000 for Senior Deputy Advocate General, Rs 8,00,000 for Deputy Advocate General and Rs 5,00,000 for Assistant Advocate General.
Apart from this, the experience and minimum number of cases have also been fixed. For the post of Additional Advocate General, the candidate must have 12 years of experience and must have handled at least 55 cases in the last one year.
Similarly, 10 years of experience and 45 cases are required for Senior Deputy Advocate General, 8 years of experience and 35 cases for Deputy Advocate General and 5 years of experience and 25 cases for Assistant Advocate General.
Retired law officers will get exemption
Retired judicial officers and retired law officers of the State Prosecution Department are exempted from experience related conditions. Apart from this, some other necessary conditions have also been prescribed to apply.
The applicant should not be a person declared bankrupt and should not have been convicted of any moral offence. He should not be an encroacher on public property and if he is already married, he should not have married another married person.
