Devotees are going to Prayagraj Kumbh from Chandigarh. A few days ago, two buses from CTU at 12 and 12.30 pm and one Haryana Roadways bus at 2.20 pm are going to Prayagraj. The one-way fare of the Volvo bus run by Haryana Roadways is Rs 2800. Which comes to Rs 5600 for both sides.
While the one-way fare of the government bus run by CTU for Kumbh is Rs 1660, which comes to Rs 3320 for both sides. But nowadays some devotees are also arranging AC buses for Mahakumbh on their own in Chandigarh.
Who is making the arrangements, when are the private buses for the next Kumbh
Ashwini Kumar Sharma, a resident of Chandigarh, also went to Prayagraj Mahakumbh on 7th with a 40-seater AC bus. The fare for which was fixed at Rs 5000 for both sides. Their next bus will depart from Bal Shiv Mandir Sector 29 on 14th. Booking can also be done from there. The fare for the bus will be Rs 5000 only. Food will not be included in it.
Another devotee Ravi Rawat had taken a 60-seater luxury bus from Sector 30 Shiv Shakti Mandir on 2nd February, whose fare for the round trip was Rs 3500. Which returned to Chandigarh on 5th February. Now again they are taking another bus to Maha Kumbh. Which will depart from Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir Sector 20 Chandigarh on 21st February at 12 noon. Its round trip fare will be Rs 5000, but in this the passengers will be given dinner and accommodation for three nights in the same fare.
BJP leader said we will run special trains soon
BJP state vice-president Davinder Singh Babla said, “We have already flagged off all the buses, we will run more buses so that the devotees going to Maha Kumbh do not face any problem. Apart from this, we and BJP Chandigarh president Jatinderpal are already talking to the center so that we can run special trains for Maha Kumbh. Talks have been completed and soon a new train will leave for Prayagraj from Chandigarh carrying passengers.”
