Transfer drive of teachers in Haryana is stuck, due to this reason transfers are not happening

Date:

The process of transfer of teachers in Haryana is facing hurdles this time too. The transfer drive is getting affected due to the announcement of civic elections and non-updating of teachers’ data on the MIS portal. The Education Department has called a meeting with teacher organizations on February 12 in which suggestions will be taken to improve the transfer drive.

The Education Department’s plan to transfer teachers before the start of the new academic session 2025-26 does not seem to be coming to fruition.

The transfer drive seems to be in jeopardy due to the announcement of civic elections and non-updating of teachers’ data on the MIS portal. However, the Education Department is busy preparing for the transfer drive.

Meeting called on February 12

On February 12, the Director of Secondary Education has called a meeting with all the education organizations to resolve the problem. The main agenda of the meeting is the transfer of teachers online.

The Directorate of Education has written letters to most of the teacher organizations including Hasla, Haryana Vidyalaya Adhyapak Sangh, School Lecturer Association, Haryana Scheduled Caste State Teachers Association, Haryana Master Class Association and Democratic School Teachers Association and invited them for a meeting.

The meeting will discuss how to improve the transfer drive

In the meeting, suggestions will be given by the teacher organizations to improve the transfer drive. Along with this, all the District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Officers of the state have been instructed to update the data of all the teachers on the MIS portal.

The Education Department has updated the discrepancies in the MIS portal, especially the appointment orders of the teachers in their service profiles, but the orders of the school allotted against them are not updated. There are about 1200 such teachers.

Relieving and joining date of many teachers is not updated

At the same time, there are more than a thousand teachers, whose orders of new schools allotted to them due to reasons like transfer and promotion have been updated in their service profile, but their relieving and joining date has not been updated on the portal. Not only this, online applications for personal profiles of 1069 teachers are pending and service and personal profiles of hundreds of teachers have not been approved.

The Education Department has directed SCERT Director Gurugram, District Education Officer, District Elementary Education Officers along with all DotE and BITE Principals to update the data of non-teaching personnel on MIS and HRMS portal. In the coming week, the data of non-teaching personnel working at the district level will have to be updated and its details will have to be sent to the Directorate.
