Anil Vij is in deep trouble, questioning his own government proved costly; ministerial position may be in danger

Date:

Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij seems to be paying heavily for raising questions on the working style of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli. Mohan Lal Badoli has sent a show cause notice to Anil Vij for this and has sought a written reply in three days.

Haryana’s most senior minister Anil Vij, who was elected MLA for the seventh time from Ambala Cantonment, has had to pay heavily for raising questions on the working style of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli.

Citing the instructions of BJP national president JP Nadda, the party’s state president Mohan Lal Badoli has termed Anil Vij’s statements as contrary to the party’s policies and indiscipline.

Badoli issued a show cause notice

Mohan Lal Badoli has issued a show cause notice to Vij and has sought a written reply in three days. Along with giving a statement about riding on the Chief Minister’s helicopter and coming down to listen to the public, Vij had demanded resignation from state president Mohan Lal Badauli after the Kasauli rape case.

Is Vij’s ministerial post in danger?

There is a discussion in political circles that if the party is not satisfied with Vij’s answer, then his ministerial post may be in danger. After the victory in Delhi, the party has given a notice to Anil Vij and has given a strong message of discipline to all the leaders and workers. Anil Vij is the Minister of Power, Transport and Labor in the cabinet of Chief Minister Naib Singh. His number in the portfolio of ministers is second after the Chief Minister.

In the government of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Anil Vij was also the second most senior minister. He had a rift with Manohar Lal for many years. Anil Vij is accused of making statements against Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and BJP state president Mohan Lal Badauli at a time when the Delhi Assembly elections were going on.

Vij had expressed his displeasure by making different statements for five consecutive days. To remove Vij’s displeasure, Haryana BJP in-charge Dr. Satish Punia had to reach Chandigarh.

DC was changed to remove Vij’s displeasure

Anil Vij had said that some party leaders did not cooperate in the Haryana assembly elections. No action was taken against such leaders. After Vij’s statement, Ambala BJP treasurer Ashish Tayal has been removed from his post. Also, DC Parth Gupta has been removed from Ambala.

He remained aggressive against his own government for 5 consecutive days

30 January: On this day, Vij’s video went viral, in which he was saying that he will not go to the meeting of the Grievances Committee, because his orders are not followed. Officers have stopped even small works. If he has to go on a hunger strike like Dallewal for Ambala, he will do it.

31 January: The very next day, another video of Vij went viral. In the second video, Vij said that after becoming the CM, Saini is on a flying chariot, if he comes down, he should see the pain and suffering of the people. Only after this, the DC of Ambala was changed.

1 February: Vij did not stop here in attacking his government. He gave a statement once again. He also showed off the sign of the film Pushpa. Along with this, he indicated that he will not bow down at any cost. Vij even said that whatever I say, my soul speaks.

2 February: Showed sharp attitude in Rohtak and Gohana. Said that one does not become a minister by giving anything to anyone. One can remove him whenever he wants. The MLA is made by the public, no one can snatch that. He also attacked Badauli.

3 February: I am not made to resign, I am made to get others to resign. I will raise my voice and I am raising my voice continuously, because keeping quiet is also a crime. I have not sat quiet and neither will I sit quiet because the public mandate is to work.

This is written in the notice…

Anil Vij ji, it is informed that you have recently made public statements against the party president and the post of Chief Minister. These are serious allegations and are against the party’s policies and internal discipline. Your move is not only against the party’s ideology, but it has also come at a time when the party was campaigning for elections in a neighbouring state.

While holding a respected ministerial position during the election period, you made such statements knowing that such statements would harm the party’s image, which are completely unacceptable. This show cause notice is being issued to you as per the instructions of the National President. You are expected to give a written explanation on this subject within three days.
